Fly to Rhodes International Airport (RHO). There are daily flights from Athens and frequent connections from major European cities. From Rhodes, take the ferry from Kameiros Skala port (about 45 minutes' drive from Rhodes town, or 30 minutes from the airport). The ferry crossing takes approximately 60 minutes. There are also direct ferry services from Piraeus (Athens) and other Dodecanese islands.

Chalki is a largely car-free island with very limited vehicle traffic, making it a peaceful destination best explored on foot. Local taxis and occasional authorised vehicles are available when needed.

The rental price includes: electricity, water, high-speed Wi-Fi, bed linen, bath towels, beach towels, final cleaning, and a welcome basket with local produce. For stays of 7 nights or more, a mid-stay clean is also included.

Check-in is from 15:00 (3:00 PM). Check-out is by 11:00 (11:00 AM). Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on availability — just ask us when you book!

Yes, our minimum stay is 3 nights. During peak summer weeks (July–August) a minimum of 7 nights may apply — check availability when booking.

Yes! Well-behaved pets are welcome at ChalKi Dream — we know how important furry family members are. Please let us know about your pet(s) when booking so we can prepare accordingly. A small pet supplement may apply.

Absolutely. The enclosed garden is a safe space for children to play, and Ftenagia Beach is approximately a 1-minute walk. We can provide a travel cot and high chair on request at no extra charge. Note that as a traditional stone house, there are some steps, so very young toddlers will need supervision on the stairs.

Yes, the house has air conditioning (hot and cold) in both bedrooms.

As Chalki is a largely car-free island with very limited vehicle traffic, parking is rarely needed. Most visitors explore the island on foot after arriving by ferry.

We have good broadband Wi-Fi at the property. Please note that Chalki is a small island and while connectivity has improved significantly in recent years, it may not match city speeds. It is suitable for general browsing, email, video calls and streaming, subject to island network conditions.

Chalki has a small port village (Nimborio / Agios Nikolaos) with a handful of excellent tavernas serving fresh fish and traditional Greek cuisine, a small supermarket, a bakery, and a café. Ftenagia Beach is also home to a popular traditional seaside restaurant just moments from the house. For a wider selection of shops, you can take the ferry to Rhodes for a day trip.

All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider — the highest level of payment security. We never see or store your card details. The connection is protected by 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. You can pay by credit/debit card, PayPal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay.

Cancellations made more than 14 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund, subject to any non-refundable third-party transaction fees disclosed at the time of booking. A 50% refund applies to cancellations made 7–14 days before check-in. No refund is available within 7 days of check-in. The security deposit is always fully refunded. Yes, a €150 refundable security deposit is charged at the time of booking. It is returned within 5 to 10 working days of check-out, provided the property is in good condition.

Yes. ChalKi Dream is a licensed tourist accommodation registered in the Greek Tourism Registry (MHTE).

Yes. Ftenagia Beach is approximately a one-minute walk from the house and is known for its white pebbles, crystal-clear turquoise waters and peaceful atmosphere.

The house accommodates up to 4 guests. It features one double bedroom and a mezzanine twin bedroom with two single beds.

Due to the traditional design of the house, steps and internal stairs are present, including access to the mezzanine bedroom. Guests with accessibility concerns are encouraged to contact us before booking.

As a small Greek island, Chalki occasionally experiences ferry schedule changes, weather-related transport disruptions, and temporary interruptions to utilities or telecommunications. These are uncommon but form part of authentic island life.
